Eye Evolution

The Powerpoint reduction here is an introduction to the evolution of the eye. Some claim that the eye is irreducibly complex, that it is so complex, it could not possibly have evolved. This lecture shows you the steps in the evolution of the eye...hopefully you leave this class with the idea that indeed eyes have evolved in a way that is consistent with the evolution of every other body system we have studied this semester. As Theodosius Dobzhansky wrote some years ago, "nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of evolution."
