I have chosen to shorten this part of the course by deleting the Protist groups that are closely related to Kingdom Fungi (Myxozoa, Myxomycota). These have not been assigned their own Kingdom yet, but will very likely be separated soon. As proposals for a new Kingdom gain support, I may put a lecture here on those organisms.

Instead, for now, we shall dive into Kingdom Fungi. This Kingdom is closely associated with Kingdom Animalia. Fungi include the molds, mildews, and mushrooms.
